The Five Moms: Stopping Cough Medicine Abuse Campaign was launched by five real-life moms, and is sponsored by CHPA.

The campaign’s mission is simple: to encourage parents to share information with other parents about the largely unknown substance abuse trend among teens to abuse over-the-counter cough medicines to get high.

Launched in May 2006, the campaign has reached over 24 million people so far with information in both English and Spanish.
